Wow. God works in mysterious ways. Once agnostic worldling actor plays the role of Padre Pio, experiences the Latin Mass, and because of those two factors gives his life to Christ, joins the Catholic Church, and becomes a traditionalist.
Ends up relating his conversion and love of the TLM to celebrity Novus Ordo rite Bishop Barron. It was a thing of beauty. This young man’s head is now clear, whereas Barron appeared woke, confused, and defensive about the liturgy. Almost surprised.
It’s a small grace to see this today, but I’ll take it. Looking forward to watching the Padre Pio movie (after it passes screening unlike the film Fr. Stu).
