Prepper Update

FYI, as I've learned lately, if you start a large prepper garden, prepare to take many hours to till up and rake out all the grass.  That's an undertaking.  And if you're putting in as I did say 200 potato plants, get the potato hiller attachment that goes on the back of the rototiller.  Otherwise, you're facing also a lot of hours to make the soil fluffy loose, create raised bed rows, dig a hole deep enough to plant the root seedling 6 inches deep, plant each one, then recover each hole mounded up as a hill.  Potatoes, in addition to corn, being your best bet for your calories and high likelihood of at least decent production.  Getting it started is a lot of work.

By the way, the British military has alerted soldiers to prepare their families for the possibility that they will be sent off to world war with Russia in the foreseeable future.  Each day is a higher level of escalation towards official war between the US/NATO forces and Russia (and its allies = China).  I still expect 99% of people hearing this information to bury their heads a little deeper in the sand.  This is a hedonistic age, in which pain is to be absolutely avoided.  And I can tell you now doing it, "prepping," or making a "prepper garden," is not pure pleasure.  Though it is very fulfilling down to the inner core of human nature.

Before most major wars, and in the case of WWI and WWII, there is a period of pre-War, typically conflicts over natural resources and borders, motivated by historical prejuduces of one nation against another based on past conflicts.  Putin sees NATO as an advancing force coming up absolutely to the borders of Russia, ultimately threatening their sovereignty and livelihood (oil, gas), since the Warsaw Pact was broken and ended.  China also sees the USA as its adversary over Taiwan, which they are planning to take over very soon.  The US has already pledged to help Taiwan, so that will be another proxy war, that places us on the verge of WWIII and nuclear war on that side facing China, of a much more severe threat than the Russia-Ukraine war.

If you see tornadoes heading towards your house from both the East and the West, that if you get hit you and yours could die or your lives become devastated, do you just continue to sit back eating McDonald's, zoned out in your lazy boy recliner, letting cable TV sedate you into a zombie state, hoping nothing happens, setting yourself up for a crisis?  Or you do some basic things to prepare you and yours in case disaster hits?  Even if it may not.  Or if it may.

Check out more info on prepping in the link at the top of the screen, which is me offering info I learned from others to help others reading this.  Also, if you like reading this blog, please buy my e-book which I'm already being told is a good read, over there on the right side of the screen, for just $4.95.  I get something like $3.20 per sale, which is a diet coke and meat stick at the gas station.  So it's more of a metric and motivator than to make any real substantial money, but you never know if it really takes off.  The paperback will be available soon, for a few dollars more.
