Once upon a time four priests were hanging out over at the local FSSP church. One was a Benedictine monk (and a priest), one a Fraternity priest, one an SSPX priest (!), and one a diocesan priest. The diocesan priest says “Hey guys, let’s pray Vespers. That’d be a really traditional thing to do.” The FSSP priest responds “Well, we don’t have four Latin psalters. I only have one.” The monk priest says “I will not require one. I have all 150 psalms memorized in Latin with chant melody.” The SSPX priest says “No problem. I actually have a box of Latin psalters from our Angelus Press out in my car. I’ll run outside the church to the parking lot and get them.” ….The FSSP priest cries out “No, No! Don’t leave the Church! Don’t leave the Church!”

(This was one of the jokes I made on stage at the SSPX Talent Show circa 2010 in Sanger, TX; video available through the Sanger chapel. My talent was a stand up comedy show roasting Trads, of which I got a standing ovation, if I am permitted to brag for a moment).
