Shortly after the SSPX consecrates bishops on July 1st? In an Ecclesia Dei 2.0 document? I never thought I’d be facing this, but it is what it is.
An SSPX priest once said to me we are in a kind of “schism from schism,” in that the mainstream in so far as it rejects Tradition is in a kind of schism, while we rejecting that schism are therefore in a kind of quasi-schism.
Sometime go on YouTube and look up “Archbishop Lefebvre consecrations 1988.” His sermon was very plain and direct, but powerful.
Excommunications are coming if you attend SSPX Masses, even occasionally, or agree with their doctrinal positions, or remotely make them your spiritual guide, or agree with the need and right to consecrate bishops even without papal approval, and in particular agree that there are doctrinal errors in Vatican II and the Novus Ordo that cannot be accepted. Especially as conditions for regularization and being allowed more bishops.
And now there are new requirements, to accept also all the wacky errors of Francis and Leo.
It’s coming.
I’m sure there are plenty of photos of Leo looking angry to portray his mind on this.
God bless Bishop Schneider but I’m certain his appeal to Leo to accept the SSPX AS IS will not result in this goal. I predict in the weeks and months ahead the current Vatican clampdown will not let up nor turn more friendly, but the opposite.
The dye has been cast. We have crossed the Rubicon. The SSPX will not dialogue under the ongoing unjust demands. But the Vatican will not let up on those demands to achieve dialogue. It is an impasse. The bridge between the SSPX and the Vatican has collapsed into the abyss. And I think Leo knows this.
He and Child Porn Author Cardinal Tucho are to blame. Whatever bridges were built under Pope Benedict, have fallen apart under Francis.
They are now destroyed by Leo.
A handful of auxiliary bishops on July 1st are consecrated to do ordinations and confirmations, to keep the SSPX alive, and then KABOOM!! A mushroom cloud followed by shock waves followed by ashes falling from the sky. All over the planet. All over the Church. I can’t even imagine what damage the ripple effect will have across the Church.
Just imagine right now it’s like American bombers are flying across the ocean for Japan ready to drop nukes on Nagasaki and Hiroshima. It’s just a matter of time.
You may not place you and yours under the SSPX, but I expect “excommunications” are issued for the entire SSPX and anyone holding to their positions. Something like “we declare that all remaining priests, religious, and laity attached in any way to the SSPX to have incurred ipso facto excommunication, and also to anyone holding their positions on the Council and liturgical reform.” That “excommunication” could extend across the Latin Mass movement into and throughout the mainstream, to all like-minded Catholics. It would be like detonating a nuke over the Church with millions of casualties.
It will be even more clear than ever before that we have always been dealing with two Churches: the Catholic Church vs. the “Conciliar Church.” Imagine that. The main international group to represent us remnant Catholics, will “appear” to be itself now a Separate Church, like the Old Catholics or Independent Catholic Churches. Or the Eastern Orthodox. Or the Church of England. No longer a debate about partial communion or Vatican II. Instead the Vatican will issue the next wave of persecution for the entire traditional movement. We clearly see now obstinate resolve to continue stamping out the traditional movement in the line of Francis.
Where is your mercy, Leo? Where is your justice? To refuse yet again to meet with your sons before you chop their heads off.
I’m done.
I’m done with the “Conciliar Church.” No more oscillating back and forth between the official canonical structure compromised to modernism, and the traditional Remnant not at all compromised to modernism. If any of us get “excommunicated” it will be an honor and a relief. No more need to do mental gymnastics and to twist your brain in a knot in order to walk the line.
If you’re unjustly “thrown out” of the human element of the canonical Vatican and diocesan structure, not in itself of divine institution by the way, it will free your mind and soul. And give peace because it will make it even more clear to which Religion, to which Church, you belong, and which false religion you reject.
So be it. God’s Will be done. We will escape the evil Pharaoh only to wander for 40 years in the desert. At least we will be intact. Make straight the way of the Lord.
But the modernists cannot destroy or break our faith, or exclude us from the true visible Church. For now they own the churches, and coin purse. But we have the Faith. Sooner or later God will destroy the modernists and restore the Church. We traditional Catholics are the true Church of Jesus Christ.
