Current Thoughts on Trump

He remains our Constantine, flawed, but by Providence, intended or not, fighting for what remains of Christendom in this country.

The more I reflect on these flaws, the accusations against him, I’m inclined to disbelieve most of them as lies, as a political witch-hunt so the Democrats win the presidency in 2024.

But I think there is some truth to him in the past womanizing, especially in his younger years, even cheating on Melania.

Did you know one out of three presidents were accused of affairs, including George W. Bush.

But I don’t believe he ever raped a woman, or was a serial adulterer.  Some husbands falter now and then by laziness or drunkenness. Some have faltered by adultery, which doesn’t always mean they are a misogynist or sociopath.

Since 2016 we saw a genuine change in Trump becoming more religious and explicitly Christian.  Not to say he is even remotely devout, or that it wasn’t also for political purposes, but his commitment to the pro-life cause, religious liberty for Christians, and opposition to leftist morality is genuine.

Therefore, I tend to believe that, despite past womanizing, that is out of his system and he has remorse for any adultery many years ago.

This man is literally the one politician with any power to stand a chance against the communists in D.C.

Vote for Trump in 2024.  For now DeSantis needs a lesson in humility and step to the side.  He can carry the MAGA torch in 2028.

Those are my thoughts that come to mind this Sunday afternoon here in Oklahoma, watching the spectacle of it all.
