I Support Russia. You Should Too.

Traditional Catholic Bishop Williamson
On War between Russia and Ukraine

If my wife would be okay with the inherent risks to property (not to mention life) of doing so, as I would be, I’d hang a Russian flag from my front porch to support Russia in its war with Ukraine. And to annoy those woke, virtue-signaling conformist sheeple hanging Ukrainian flags all across town in blind support of the US/NATO provoking world war with Russia.  But she’s not down with it, so I won’t put it up, having once taken marriage vows and all.

But if your Mrs. would be okay with it, or you don’t have a Mrs., I double dog dare you to hang up a Russian flag.  With security cameras aimed on it recording on an SD card.  And your retained constitutionalist-minded lawyer on speed dial ready to aggressively file formal charges on your behalf when a leftist thug trespasses and steals your property.  As evidenced by the video, in order to silence your right to freedom of speech.

Go to your local Russian or Eastern European grocery store and buy ingredients to make Borscht, Pirozhkis, Blinis, and of course Beef Stroganoff.  In honor of President Vladimir Putin fighting this Holy Crusade against the One World Government, of the New World Order.

The Russians need our moral support.  See on YouTube traditional life in Russian towns and villages   Yeah I know they have abortion and the people are still not as religious as they were before the USSR.  But these folks are living a very socially conservative lifestyle, which is practically very Christian, often ignoring much of our Western, decadent culture.  That part of the world is effectively resisting the diabolical cultural liberalism of the West.

By the way, per even pre-Vatican II law, if you were to live in Russia with no Catholic church nearby, the Church supplies jurisdiction and authorization to attend Russian Orthodox churches and receive their sacraments.  Without any scruple.  The Russian Orthodox, with a very few obvious exceptions, are very much in unity with Traditional Catholics of the Latin Church.   You’d probably have to work online, but the cost of living is low compared to the US.

But I digress.

The ethnic Russians of the now declared (and now Russia occupied) independent regions of eastern Ukraine need our support, having been persecuted by the leftist, US-installed puppet government these last 8 years.  Many innocents have been killed at the hands of the Zelensky regime.  Who will fly a flag for them?

Putin doesn’t want to take over Eastern Europe and make it all a part of Russian territory. Or to resurrect the communist Soviet Union.  Let’s get real.  He wants a unified eastern Europe, resisting globalism, in unity with the Russian federation, a strong economy, and most of all to preserve their tradition and heritage, which is fundamentally Christian, in the face of the collapsing West.  I can find no error in that policy from the perspective of traditional Catholic moral theology or political philosophy.  Or Magisterial teaching.

Whereas the US, NATO, UN, EU want world domination, through the military industrial complex empire, to suck the Earth dry of all oil and gas, to support our hedonistic lifestyle, and ultimately to convert all human beings in the end to secular liberalism.  If that isn’t pure evil, I don’t know what is.

This is why these socialist tyrant elites are waging an unholy war against Russia through proxy war in Ukraine, placing the entire world (including you and me) right now on the brink of world war, nuclear war, and economic collapse.

God takes sides in war, at least favoring the lesser of two evils if not the holy side, and I’m certain He’s not on the side of NATO’s proxy war in Ukraine.  Which makes God on the side of Russia.  So, let our prayers and support be with Putin and Russia.

In conclusion, I maintain this is the Traditional Catholic position, vs. that of Neoconservatism.
