Except of course our own government keeping our heads in the sand. As soon as we all realize collectively there is a figurative Tsunami rolling across the Atlantic approaching North America, we will go bat sh*t crazy. It’s going to be interesting to witness that happen.
Which is why last week’s purchases included 15 five gallon food grade buckets with lids for all our rice and beans. Tractor Supply. $3.49 plus $1,99 for the lids, and 17 cents for an oxygen absorber. Oh and for $5, Walmart sporting goods section has a cool machete which I also picked up. To scare off all the blue haired meth head zombies breaking down my door once Walmart (or their wallet) is empty.
Lighting a match in the darkness. Gotta do it. Keep the faith. Keep on trucking. Keep on fighting for freedom. Come what may.
The whole world can become Mad Max, me and mine will keep our domestic church and little castle a beacon of light. And our own little fortress.
By the way, false flag as predicted in Ukraine, with wild and irrational accusations Russia used chemical weapons. Big surprise. Oh and inflation is now 8.5% just in time for Easter. More like double that on what families really need to buy.
And climbing.
Every day I wake up I’m convinced the independent media, the preppers, and Archbishop Vigano are right what is going down right now, and what to expect. That is what to PREPARE for. When you get in the car you don’t say you don’t need to wear a seat belt because you can’t be sure today you’ll be in a potentially lethal car accident. You put on the dang seat belt.
If you’re still scratching your head on this, Google ++Vigano’s declaration about the War, care of The Remnant. Have your homeschool kids read it, it’s gold. And for that matter read Putin’s speech just after entering Ukraine.
Lighting a match in tbe darkness. Next Monday I plant 40 potato seedlings in my front yard garden, that have been sprouting in the living room window. Already planted two varieties of bean poles and kale. The Mrs. will be practicing canning later this week, making and then canning Filipino chicken adobo.
After the work week, Saturday will be garage sales (to buy useful tangible assets before hyperinflation), then work on the pantry, then the Filipino 7 churches devotion done on Holy Saturday (blog post planned showing pics), then rest a few hours in my recliner, then drive to SSPX-OKC for late night Easter Vigil, parish midnight Easter potluck, very late drive back to Tulsa. Then up at 8 am to take mom to TLM in Wagoner (too far for her to make the OKC drive), then Easter lunch with my aunt.
Lighting a match in the darkness. It keeps getting darker out there, but God is on our side. He is, after all, THE light. Yes sir.
