Yeah, but other things too. Less sympathy for the SSPX, a different take on the spiritual warfare stuff, etc. Though again I think I generally agree with your sentiments, cultural and longevity concerns, in most of this.

Howdy! have read unvarnished and well-researched "Phoenix from the Ashes." Contains excellent information re: the SSPX which have coloured my views on that hugely.
Howdy right back at ya, LL. Hadn't heard of that book. Just googled it. It comes well recommended from my point of view, one of the scholars endorsing it in the back cover being Brian McCall,Esq. himself an Okie Trad.
