Thomistic Philosophy Articles

I have an MA in Catholic Philosophy (mainly Thomism) from Holy Apostles College and Seminary, a Bachelors in Biology, I am a former science teacher, and I now work in a health care profession.

Here I’ll post my own articles on philosophical subjects, in the Thomistic tradition, with an emphasis on practical philosophy, i.e. applying principles and concepts, especially as expounded by St. Thomas and his ancient counterpart Aristotle, to everyday life, the professions, and living as a Catholic in the modern world.  Particular subjects will be: appreciating creation in light of Thomistic natural philosophy, Catholic medical ethics, and the role of philosophy and Thomism in the intellectual and spiritual life of lay Catholics.  For now I will use my blogging name of Joseph Ostermeir.
