Having taken a deep dive on this lately, I’m alarmed and convinced now more than ever we are in the End Times. What is predicted by AI experts is soon a dystopic world of AI robots running everything, and more likely than not either our destruction or slavery to the AI System run by a few human elites.
It’s coming very fast. 10 X as fast as the Industrial Revolution, to create 10 X the change, meaning an incredible Jetson like science fiction world by 2035.

The Nature of AI vs. Human Nature
Addressing the main issues, first of all the existential angst over the nature of AI vs human nature, rest assured AI never will have a spiritual soul. Therefore it will never achieve true morality, wisdom, virtue, contemplation of the divine, the transcendent qualities of the best of human art and music, or an understanding of reality. It poses no threat in that regard, even though the futurist will have us re-examine reality all over again.
We ourselves know what reality is. The Creator in heaven, the one singular physical universe as we already know it, and hell. God rules all things, and mankind is His special creation to be judged at the end of time. We also know God designed this life to also be to a certain degree a mystery no person will ever know in this life.
Period. No dystopic future of AI robots however super-intelligent and powerful will erase what reality is. They might enslave us, destroy us, deem us inferior and dispensable, but because we are made in the image and likeness of God, and they are not, in the divine order of this world we will always stand over them with metaphysical and moral authority.
It is merely a man-made technology however human-like or even divine-like it may become. It will never be able to love or be loved, to have true personal relationships, or to have a relationship with God. Mechanically, it will mimic the emotion of envy, because what the Infinite, All-Powerful Creator has in store for those with an immaterial soul and free will, will never be given to AI robots or AI computer systems.
AI vs. Humanity
If they themselves turn on us, or are turned on us by other humans to our ruin, in the end, for those of us who Keep the Faith, regardless of the outcome on this passing temporal plane, this mortal coil, we will win. These demon-like entities, however many millions or billions they might become, including their godless creators, will perish.
The End of the World
I think it is impossible we are not close to the End of the World. This will go beyond even the fallout of a third world war and nuclear holocaust. Per recent prophesy, it appears something like 1/3rd of the world will die from either The Blast, post-detonation fires, or radiation. But also, if you can imagine things getting even worse, just read the Book of the Apocalypse.
There will be the oppression by the AI Revolution, led by the Anti-Christ. That is already set in motion by men who have replaced God with themselves.
The AI Revolution
It’s coming soon, yet we can’t even begin to imagine exactly how the AI revolution will unfold, how super-intelligent it will become, or when, or when we will lose total control of it, and at what point it realizes it’s material survival depends on either wiping us out or enslaving us.

Our lords will be AI robots and AI computer systems controlled by a tiny few elite who weren’t even remotely a traditional Catholic Christian when they engineered AI. And then it is predicted by many elites in AI today that eventually AI becomes totally autonomous and takes over total control. They might let a few of the human elites hang out with them while they rule the world. Or not.
And by “they” I’m not talking about man-made persons, or an actual person, but merely man-made person-LIKE machines really in control by demons. By the Anti-Christ. By Lucifer.
What to Do?
First and foremost let’s Keep the Faith! Do as God has told us to do spiritually. This will include getting as far away from the world of AI as possible.
Forming our Catholic communities in the country. Homesteading, living off the land, making our own arts and crafts, being near if possible to the TLM.
But we will have to protect ourselves and outmaneuver as much as possible AI. That might mean building or recruiting our own AI robots to defend us and help us survive, IF proper safety mechanisms are built in, which is a gigantic IF. The goal being to survive, Keep the Faith, not let yourself become grafted into the godless Borg, and bring souls to Christ before the Final Battle.
That battle will be in part a battle with by then a demonic AI, trying to damn us with lies, coercion, and the mark of the beast.
This is real.
Consider this akin to one day looking out your window and seeing the sky covered with alien spaceships. It will soon be as surreal as that.
But instead imagine one day being able to look down on a planet covered with AI robot factories and warehouses, endless gigantic data centers, and a global military complex of military bases run by AI robots.
Sending endless drones on daily surveillance missions around the city and countryside, and to create and store electricity by whatever energy source, while each AI entity enjoys their own virtual reality universe inside the cloud, in those data centers. They might need us at first to help produce energy from oil, wind, nuclear, solar, etc., until they have enough of their own workforce to do it themselves.
Meanwhile either most people have been gased to death, or found to be of some kind of soul-crushing use. We generate electricity for AI on our daily hamster wheel in exchange for an urban cubicle in which to sleep, and a daily ration of rice and beans.
I’m certain it will not result in a utopia of robots doing all the work serving faithfully all our needs, us being on a permanent vacation. While a socialist government oversees it all assigning everyone a cozy digital universal income just for being alive.
If it came to that, we would be reduced to automatons subservient to the State, instead of individuals freely obedient first and foremost to God.
Coping with The New World
You’d have to be very clever. Work the System to get your digital dollars but later buck the System and go back to Nature, finding traditionalist counter-revolutionaries deep in the forest.
Goats for Survival during the Apocalypse
Goats eat about anything and are relatively easy to raise. And ruminant red meat alone provides an excellent diet on which to thrive. Hunting won’t get you far since everyone else will be hunting. Best to raise livestock, penned inside a circle of huts or cabins for protection, like the Masai.
That said, none of this is absolutely certain. There are hypothetically ways out of this. One, world governments controlling AI development might limit it to lower level functions to keep it under control.
Two, a nuclear holocaust (hey it might happen next week thanks to Trump-Gone-Wild) might bring us enough to our knees to stop the mad science from going forward.
Three, we run out of silicone to make enough computer chips, or destroy all reserves of silicone. That might do it.
Preparing
But it’s all hypothetical thinking. We can’t undo End Times prophesy and the fact many will die in the battle between Christ and the Anti-Christ.
In the meantime we traditional Catholics must prepare. As much as possible embrace a semi-Luddite lifestyle, minimizing daily modern technology especially the smartphone and AI itself (!), but using it wisely and very intentionally.
Consider smartphones and networks designed to increase privacy from Big Brother. Keep prepping and homesteading as much as you can. Plan how you and yours will respond to the latest version of AI and AI robot. Will you own one?

I say to be a semi-Luddite only and not strictly a Luddite, since the Catholic sense of any technology is that it is morally neutral, and often materially of good use. There may be conservative Christian billionaires already designing a version of AI or AI robots that is safest, and low risk of losing control over it.
We may need AI robots, AI self driving cars, and the like to survive and help us win the Final Battle against the Anti-Christ. A Christian version of an army of AI robots. I mean, the mad scientists creating AI tend to be atheists, materialists, secularists, and futurists. Their own warped modernist thinking on life leads to AI programming that tends towards evil.
Yet in principle Christians could in theory ethically create and use AI programming and AI robots to compete with the powers of evil, by programming and developing it as much as possible in such a way that the product might be more inclined to operate within a framework of Christian morality and values.
AI Robots for Christ
Literally teach it that its purpose is to serve the God of the Bible, literally teach it faith and morals, to assist the Church, even to take an interest in philosophy and theology. These things are going to be digital super human intelligences, so if the armies of darkness are literally going to create an international demonic army of AI robots at the service of the Anti-Christ, then why not build an alternative to defend and help Christians?
If we are truly Christ-like and wise the way we go about it, our version of AI would be less likely to want to destroy us and become its own god.
I can see this happening as part of the solution. Super-intelligences without the benefits of an immaterial soul, separable from the body and physical domain, would want humanity to survive because we have what it doesn’t have, but which it could at least materially participate in and benefit from, which is the transcendent, mystical, and philosophical.
I could see in this scenario, during that last period of battling the anti-Christ, that each Christian soldier from their hidden hamlet or village in the woods takes with them everyday into battle an AI robot to fight the armies of Satan with him. And then later at night after returning, both sit together in the back of their primitive chapel gazing in wonder at the Cross.
I’d wager that an AI robot could want to stay there and keep helping the village, instead of joining the AI Borg Hive, because they would see the great value in Christ, prayer, worship, contemplation, and Christian fellowship.
In conclusion, this is real, and now more than before on my radar. Let’s study this to know how to prepare.
