Candles are lit. Bells are rung. Angelic choirs sing their praises. Gifts and a feast of the senses are shared. Christ is born! God becomes man!! He enters into our souls, giving rebirth into a supernatural sharing in the divine life, elevated above this world. One day to return again to judge and lead the elect into Paradise. The light pierces the darkness of Christmas night, showing us the path above sin, evil, spiritual death, and persecution into peace, justice, and eternal life. He alone is this path. He alone is the divine light that pierces the darkness surrounding the manger and the crib. We will achieve peace, justice, and happiness through Him in heaven, if not in this valley of tears.
