Traditionalism Transcends the Political Spectrum in the Church

The takeover of modernism at and after the Council split the Church into a political divide.  Liberal, moderate, conservative, and traditionalist.  Yet Catholicism IS NOT a political spectrum.

The beauty and veracity of traditionalism is that it reconnects you with that which holds the Church together, that is Catholic Tradition, while opposing that which created this pagan, City of man political spectrum.  Adhering to Tradition, while it is akin in many ways to conservatism, means transcending the spectrum.

On certain points it is to the “far right,” but intrinsically it is not.  It transcends those concepts.  Returning to Tradition is like floating down a deep,  clear, old river that brings forth life and ultimately brings you to your final destination.

Whereas treating that return to Tradition as an ecclesial political reaction on the far right, which is Americanist is like running around a forest chasing a forest fire in a state of frenzy as if that is traditional Catholicism.  The political spectrum was created by the modernists as a chaotic forest fire, giving the false illusion of life, but for the ultimate purpose of destruction of the Faith.

In conclusion, traditionalism does not define itself as being a part of that forest fire, but rather as living on and being deeply rooted in life giving waters.  Still waters run deep. Happy Fall weather.
