Breaking news from the Vatican, Pope Francis releases a new Motu Proprio on the Latin Mass called Restitutio Traditionis, on The Restoration of Tradition. In the first paragraphs he describes an apparition he received after the Easter vigil, at Santa Marta, in which heaven reprimanded him for his severe restrictions he placed on the ancient rite in his Motu Proprio Traditionis Custodes, characterized by cardinals and other Church authorities as draconian. Later in the document Pope Francis went so far as to mandate every parish to offer a weekly traditional Mass and for every priest to learn it and offer it without restrictions.
