Two more J6 political martyrs. Way to go DOJ, the extreme sentence length isn’t going to accomplish what you claim to be trying to do.
Aside from the fact these two patriots had a strong defense, you know, such as they had no plan to overthrow government or use weapons.
I don’t know all the critical facts of their case, except I know these people are God-fearing patriots who did whatever they did out of love of country. Because they sincerely believed they were witnessing a Communist Coup takeover of the federal government. Their intentions were noble.
One of the acts of mercy is to visit those in prison. Or at least give them what moral support we are allowed to by the prison system in the form of letters, etc.
I recall my dad writing letters to a Catholic deacon in prison who had kidnapped an abortionist. He had taken him across state lines which made his sentence very long, it was possibly for life. He says he had no intention to hurt the abortionist but was in a crazy frenzy trying to convince them to stop murdering babies. His intention was good, to stop the murder of innocents. But his method was bad, as were that of some of these protestors at the Capitol on J6.
But the J6ers are the scapegoat. We patriots who challenged the election fraud, especially Trump, are the scapegoat. The sins of the devil are placed on the relatively innocent, that is innocent relative to those enacting a Coup inside the House chambers. They have spent the last two years taking the fact that it was they who planned an insurrection, and provoked violent protest, but putting that guilt into the crowd as a whole who protested around and in the building.
Woe to those who call good bad, and bad good.
Even if these Oath Keepers went crazy and did some stupid things that day—or not—we must give them our moral support. They are suffering this extreme sentence for their love of God and country.
The degree to which their sentence is unjust, but rather a form of persecution, and the degree they willingly accept and offer up that terrible cross, out of love for God and country, the greater will be their reward in heaven.
That is the reward for standing up to Communist Revolutionaries who usurped what little was left of the USA and turned it into a Banana Republic on January 6, 2021, into de facto the new Communist States of America.
And in a couple of years God-wiling re-elected President Trump could pardon them and exact justice by his office on those who truly led the Coup and who persecuted the protestors that day. Something to pray and hope for.
History will judge that day as the day the Communist Party usurped the government, and then projected their treason onto Trump supporters. That is anti-elite, anti-leftist, anti-deep state patriots represented still by Donald Trump and the MAGA movement.
History will show the truth one day.
