It looks like one disheartening headline after another documenting what looks to me like Trump fading into the shadows. His “impeachment,” Truth Social turning out to be a dud, his own kids backtracking their support, the investigation into the files he took back to Maralago, which seems at least imprudent on his part, Trump making statements to ignore the Constitution albeit probably hyperbole, falling for Milo and Kanye’s trap, and most recently blaming the Midterms on 100% pro-lifers. I predict more strange blunders down the pike.
As an avid Trump supporter since he came down that escalator in 2015 to announce his presidential candidacy, that last ridiculous statement hit home for me. Trump is not a social conservative through and through. Thank God he became pro-life and helped reverse R v W after all these years, but a recent LGBTQ gala? Someone needs to shake some sense into him.
I don’t need a pundit to tell me what I’m observing—Trump has lost his steam. He no longer thrives on being attacked. He is no longer immune nor resilient to the cryptonite they’ve been hurling at him non stop since 2015. Before no matter what trash they threw at him it had the opposite effect, making him more popular. It was a morale booster for conservative Americans until the Steal, and since we have been robbed by the Left of that optimistic, forward-thinking momentum Trump helped give us. The likes of Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and the MSM are killing the MAGA movement. The Left, ie Western Globalist Elites having the power and means to do so.
I will still vote for Trump in the primaries because right now I see the only glimmer of hope on turning this country around to be the populist, antii-establishment movement Trump so successfully created, the nationalist Make America Great Again movement. But I don’t see MAGA going forward without Trump, DeSantis on his own will bring it to an end unless he becomes Trump’s running mate, they win, then DeSantis carries the torch later. Yet all indications strongly suggest none of that will happen Trump will be unjustly indicted and disqualified to run. Trump single-handedly made DeSantis and Pence who they are now, yet both are preparing to run against him. The man DID NOT try to start an insurrection, both know this, but are willing to stab Trump in the back.
I see only one real solution going forward, and that is to retreat, preserve our Western and American tradition within our own families and small communities, and prepare for the Titanic to sink into the abyss, and pray God chastises this nation to the point The People finally waken up like the Founding Fathers did when they stood up to the absolute monarch in England.
A few might be able to escape to relatively more Christian countries like Hungary, Ecuador, or the Philippines. Become an expat, preserve your heritage overseas, pass it down to the next few generations, for them to return to America one day to rebuild.
Most must stay. Fight the culture war head on following the example of Christ. Speak the truth in charity, set a good example, support political and social activism to restore morals and traditional values.
I would argue most should retreat to the countryside, build up your network of conservatives and Christians with this same outlook. And prepare for that great chastisement. I watch a YouTube channel daily called Canadian Prepper for intel on the Russia-Ukraine war, on the unfolding before our very eyes, which few will talk openly about, practical world war three.
If it goes down, I see a light at the end of the tunnel, people like you and me restoring all things to Christ in our secular realm, which might include a new Christian Nation.
