The Problem of Modernity

My conviction is that Tradition is integral to culture and life.  While I appreciate certain advantages of science, technology, and modern infrastructure (like AC in this hellish heat of Oklahoma in August), imo modernity as such is anti-culture and anti-life, something unsustainable.  Modernity being the cultural norm of the 20th and 21st centuries. Versus cultural Tradition being the norm going back to Adam and Eve.

What the Protestant rebels and Enlightenment pseudo-philosophers taught, implemented by modern regimes since the 1800’s, is unsustainable.  It’s just a matter of time before the whole damn thing falls apart and we live once again, for example, how they live in certain villages of Western Europe, and still much of Eastern Europe (which includes Russia). Therefore, I embrace the traditional way of life of Western Civilization as much as possible, being surrounded by concrete, 5G internet signals (God help us when they switch over to 6G), and smog.
