The average adult eliminates an average of one pound of solid material daily. Yep, I just said that. Say a family of two adults and four kids. Estimate half pound per kid. That’s 1,460 pounds a year. Drill a few free pallets together to make compost bins, mix it all with equal part leaves, and water, and shazam we’re talkin’ an easy 3,000 pounds free fertilizer every year.
