Let ‘er sit until Friday night, then slow smoke that sucker all evening with chunks of Mesquite, while watching the garden grow. The final step being to grill sizzling fast over super hot coals on the hibachi, at ‘ole Blue Hole Spring, water side. No more of that cheap “best value” charcoal. I splurged on the real wood briquettes which burn hotter and longer, akin to paying a little more for ethanol-free gas at the pump. It’s gonna be good folks. Will post a pic of the finished product. After we eat, it’ll be crawdad fishing with my snorkel gear atop the falls at Blue Hole. Good healthy fun here in the South. Yessir.
I also bought a new Dutch oven recently, so will also make a mixed berry cobbler using the coals.
By the way, in reference to my last ranting post, my wife has discovered a place to congregate online she enjoys, that is very hospitable to traditional Catholics, if you so choose, being well moderated.
