I was listening to a radio program of an astrophysicist talk about how modern science is searching for the ultimate nature of the universe. Science can’t know that. All that said, we already know the purpose of the universe: to serve the needs of mankind, to reflect the Creator so we know Him by means of Creation, and ultimately to manifest and give glory to God.
