Until the CCP bishops separate from Communism and their anti-life heresies, it is still in schism. Francis’ deal with Beijing can’t change that fact.
Therefore, the true Catholic Church in China remains the persecuted underground Church, but now persecuted doubly by a false Vatican-CCP alliance selling out the true hierarchy in China. Cardinal Zen is the de facto moral leader of the underground, he too now being thrown under the bus.
Not only by the CCP, but by Bergoglio.
Orthodoxy and fidelity still reigns in the underground Church, some of their priests and laity maintaining the TLM and Tradition the best they can, aided by the ministry of traditionalist priests abroad. I’ll leave it at that.
The underground Catholics who have been persecuted, imprisoned, brutalized, even murdered, they are the contemporary martyrs in Asia, bringing down God’s graces to one day topple Chinese Communism and spread the Christian Faith across China. Keep up the good fight.
