Update on the Impending Tsunami. Aka WW3, Economic Collapse. Prepare Now.

95% of people right now, whose pulse I take on The Situation, as I am now calling it, seem to be somewhat in a state of denial.  They are not facing the fact that the world is officially, you know as announced on TV, on the verge of a third world war, exponentially increasing inflation, an energy crisis, and a food crisis.

Oh and don't forget about the real estate crisis about to get much worse, as in crashing property values with rising mortgage rates.

Or they are just not wanting to talk about this stark reality out loud, it being too politically incorrect to talk about unpleasant things after church or in the check out line.  It is like wanting to talk about the sunny weather instead of talking about a Perfect Storm approaching your coast.

And The Situation IS a "perfect storm," a confluence of military, economic, geopolitical, cultural, and medical crises combining into one global cluster crisis emanating for now from You-know-where.

The fact that so few people I talk to, or listen to, in the flesh or online, are talking about prepping for this, on any level, indicates to me the world is not in a right state of mind for what is likely approaching soon.  That or I am crazy, and no, I am not crazy.

If nothing happens, great.  But if the SHTF, 95% will be screwed...unless they start preparing NOW.

I'm thinking of standing on a very popular street corner next Saturday for a couple hours holding a sign saying something like "Call Congress Now. Say No to War."  I'm expecting mostly a supportive response, but it'll be interesting to see if people get it.  And fun.

The alert to prep needs to be spread, so please read this and remind all friends and family to prepare, and for them to tell others, and so on...Tell them the Okie Trad guy says to do it.

Of course I've been praying daily since 2/24/22, two months ago, for world peace and prosperity, but just as there is Divine Mercy, as the Novus Ordo recognizes today on "Divine Mercy Sunday," i.e. Low Sunday, so we can't forget there is also Divine Justice.

And even a mere, imperfect mortal like me can figure out the current modern world is approaching a Divine Justice like we have never seen before.  Every culture and sub-culture on every continent has created this monstrosity that is the contemporary world, except perhaps (perhaps) the pygmies deep in the jungle.

So be it.  I pray this does not happen, and if it doesn't I'll blog praising God for His mercy.  But if it does, then I'll be glad I talked about this now like I am.  And if it is God's will, then I will take delight in God's justice, even if I suffer like the godless rebelling against God.

Virtue stands in the middle.  Prudence being one of the cardinal virtues, to one extreme of this virtue is paranoia and extremism, which I labor to avoid, to the other extreme lax foolishness.

But when a verifiable Tsunami is predicted to very possibly hit your country, it seems obvious to me that it is foolish to have our heads in the sands on this.  When you get in the car knowing there is always risk of a fatal accident, you don't neglect to put on your seat belt saying "Oh, Francis consecrated Russia to Mary.  It's all good."  God doesn't like despair.  But He also doesn't like presumption, two extremes of the virtue of hope.

Imagine a cyber attack blackout that last weeks in your area, like blackouts already happening in some parts of the world.  Guess what?  Lord Biden himself has said to prepare for this, so you know the risk is much worse than he will admit in a press conference.  In a matter of one 24 hour day, imagine all those people living in your part of town who do not have food stored, who are so addicted to contemporary culture -- i.e. Big Macs, Netflix, AC, not to mention all things convenient like electricity -- how they will react?

Add to that rampant substance addiction, mood and personality disorders, most marriages and families being in a state of turmoil, and the fact that when you step outside your door everyday to re-enter the social mix, it is a mosh pit of incivility, and narcissistic levels of selfishness even from the most "normal" of people.

After a few days of not restocking their shelves, due to black outs affecting the truck supply chain, grocery stores would start running out of food.  That is if they are still open for business when there is no electricity.  If they are, it's cash only, and most families don't keep much cash on hand.  Friendly reminder--ATM machines run on electricity.

As do gas stations that fuel food delivery trucks to your neighborhood Walmart.

The Situation is very, very, very, very real.  You-know-who made a second nuclear threat to the US last week, which if you ask my opinion we/NATO are provoking him to do, by test launching across the entire length of their country a super-sonic missal designed to carry the largest nuke ever made, the "Satan 2," said to be capable of leveling an area the size of Texas.

Two words:  potassium iodide.  Stop reading, order some on Amazon, it's cheap, and then come back to finish reading.  Thank me later when you and your decendants survive radiation sickness.

Welcome back.

The Truth on the need to prepare for any impending disaster comes from God.  God has taught us in Sacred Scriptures that when a People departs from His laws, but embraces a diabolically evil way of life, sooner or later He will issue a great punishment, usually indirectly by, according to His Providence, letting them suffer war, famine, plague, persecution, exile, etc.

But to those who look upward daily relying on His Word and life-giving Laws, He gives them wisdom to prepare for and at least somewhat avoid the punishment of the wicked.  Whether Noah and his family preparing for the Flood, or Moses and the Israelites preparing for the Passover of the Angel of Death in Egypt, God guided them.  As He is doing now with His biblical wisdom.

My point is not that I am some kind of online prophet, that you should listen to some guy waxing and waning with merely personal opinions or intuitions from his laptop on a restful Sunday afternoon.  The Situation is an objective fact recognized by nations and world leaders across the world, in the last two months.  My point is that God Himself gives believers signs that Divine Justice, i.e. chastisement, is approaching, and also the biblical wisdom to prepare spiritually and materially.  Since we are not angels, but embodied spirits in need of food, water, shelter, energy, etc.

Right now you may be sitting in your lazy boy, with a few days worth of pop tarts and spaghetti-O's in the cupboard, a few plants in your front flower bed, letting cable TV flow over you, as you slip into a semi-comatose state of ignorant bliss.  Wake up.

In a matter of months, your pantry could be full to the ceiling, the backyard covered in a large potato crop, a solar panel on your roof, a simple shallow well hand drilled next to the garden, and plenty of self-protection.  Put in a relatively small amount of work and investment now, so that you don't face months or years of government-run food lines and Great Reset control of you and your family.

God will judge every man, husband, and father how he prepares and responds to this impending Situation.  That is our sacred duty as men, to protect and provide.  As in to create a sanctuary of safety, peace, relative prosperity, and a daily spiritual life, to safeguard the home and family from evil of all kinds.  While also providing for our needs.

We need to be thinking like Noah right now, and each of us building our own Ark.  A Flood is approaching.  It might not happen.  But then again, it might happen.  You must store away as much food as possible, essential medications, water, ammo, etc.  This is a biblical imperative, and I'm risking my blog stats and reputation emphasizing this (not that I care a whole lot about stats).

Some good news.   Just one trip to Costco with a well-thought our list, you can be ready for a cyber attack blackout that could come soon.  If world war officially breaks out, gas and food skyrocket, inflation starts getting close to hyperinflation levels, many are saying that would come by the end of summer or next fall, so we have time.  Likely.

Start with 3 months of food, then week by week grow your pantry to 6 months, then 12 months supply.  That is enough food, and time, to survive and start a thriving homestead.   Big bags of rice, beans, flour, sugar, oatmeal, etc are cheap at Costco.  Store in $3.49 food-grade buckets from Tractor Supply, $1.99 for the lid, 35 cents for a couple oxygen absorbers, duck tape the lid, and if you have a deep freezer, freeze your food buckets for a few days to kill any potential insect eggs, and shazam, that food can last 30 years stored.

In addition to putting $$ into your 401K, savings, paying your bills, and getting out of any debt asap, before investing in anything else or buying luxuries, put all discretionary income right now into essentials like long-term food, including non-consumable, high quality products, essential or very useful to survival and daily life.  Things like a rototiller, garden tools, home repair tools, small solar panel system, drill by hand your own shallow well, a few key hand-cranked tools, etc.

When the starving, blue-haired meth zombies are outside trying to break down your door, so fortified they will never get through, you'll be inside in a state of peace and quiet, having just finished up your family rosary praying for peace (and for the blue-haired zombies outside trying to kill you for your food), standing behind your chopping board cutting homemade bread for chicken salad sandwiches.  Thankful.  And prepared.

Happy Sunday.
