Just Back from People's Freedom Convoy Route, Through Tulsa

We had to rush from the Traditional Latin Mass offered at Holy Cross parish in Wagoner, OK late this morning, to pick up my mom, and head to south Broken Arrow, on the Creek Turnpike.  We joined all the support for the People's Freedom Convoy.  Facebook groups had predicted they would be passing through between 1 - 2 p.m., so we were running late, parking near the overpass at Aspen Avenue around 1:45 p.m.

Creek Turnpike, Aspen Ave. Overpass

Large crowds had formed on and near the overpasses throughout southern BA on the Creek Turnpike.  I talked a couple times to police officers, who were friendly and helpful.  I saw zero disturbances or rude behavior.  The people kept cheering, waving, holding up their American flags, while chatting.  People were actually smiling and excited, which these days is a breath of fresh air.

I talked off and on to a man from southern BA, standing with his wife next to us, holding a 3' x 5' American flag draped over the overpass.  Our views were refreshingly very much on the same page about the covid tyranny, battle for our nation, fight for American, Christian culture.  He talked about how safe and peaceful his neighborhood was saying "Pretty much everyone on our street are Christians, conservative, and patriotic."

Then around 2:15 the convoy arrived passing by, continuously for about 30 minutes, a vehicle passing every 2 seconds. I'd say maybe 1/3 were semi-trucks, 1/3 other trucks, 1/3 cars and motorcycles.  Most had flags and/or patriotic slogans on their vehicle, honking their horns as they passed under the bridge.

So by my rough calculations, the convoy must've been about 15 miles long, with 900 vehicles total -- 300 semis, 300 other trucks, 300 other vehicles.  It may have been more, over 1000 total.

Note this is just ONE convoy route, several others being a part of the American Freedom 2022 Convoy, all coming together next week in D.C.

So this convoy was very modest in size, I must say, in comparison to the Canadian convoys, though it was a booster shot in the arm of patriotism, and hopefully all the collective convoys will be enough to make a difference on the material, human, political level, but even more so on the supernatural level.

These people are freely giving a lot of their personal time and money to do this, as a great act of patriotism, offered in a spirit of prayer and sacrifice, which I trust is very pleasing to God looking down on America right now.

At the very least during these dystopic times in history, we BEAR WITNESS to the Truth in all things, regardless of short term successes or failures.   This protest-rally on wheels being a historical first here in the States.
