Time to Grieve. Then Make Some Critical Changes. I'd Think.

May the United States of America rest in peace.  She was never perfect, but the principle "don't let the perfect get in the way of the good" always applied.  She was something flawed but beautiful, and compared to the rest of the world during the modern age, she was de facto the most Christian body of law and government, and protector of individual rights and the rights of God/The Church.  Even the Philippines, what I think is the most relatively Catholic culture, derived its system of government from the American Founders.

Remember, remember the 3rd of November.  We will be duty-bound to give witness to the generations ahead what happened on 11/3/2020, and even worse on 1/6/2021.  These are days that will live in infamy.  It was literally a political coup from the radical left, enabled by Communist China principally, giving us now a de facto a ruling Party for many years to come whose policies are dictatorial Socialism, when in fact behind that facade we now have Communism.

The United States of America, i.e. that once Republic of 50 states united by a central government following the Constitution, is dead.   What remains are The People, the land, and remnants of the once conservative, Christian forms of culture that were once common.   I won't listen to the NeverTrumpers ridicule us patriots for forming the MAGA movement, or argue we are just conspiracy theory QAnon nutters.  We are not.  We just saw the raw fact that DJT and his populist movement for freedom, backed by traditional Catholc churchmen like Archbishop Vigano or Bishop Gracida for example, represented the last stand.

So now appears to me to be a time we must take a step back, talk less about politics, assess for posterity's sake what just went down the last couple months (a Coup), and grieve the loss of our Nation-State.

And if Big Brother (google, etc) are reading this, I'm not going to take down this blog or transfer it to some other alternative medium.  You're going to have to shut it down.  If so, then so be it.  Until then I'll help spread the truth that Jesus Christ and the Catholic Church, and the Christian Civilization that resulted, is the only answer to man's problems, not your modernist, liberal tripe.

Some at this point will want to continue to engage Republican party politics, promote conservative GOP candidates at the federal level, and try to restore things "from within."  They may hold onto hope Trump will rerun, or we'll take back the Senate in two years, etc.

But consider Americans have allowed 100,000,000 innocent babies to be murdered through abortion, barely raising a protest in comparison, not to mention its other atrocities since the Cultural Revolution of the 60's.  And consider that except for a few hyper protesters storming the Capitol building, whatever the merits or lack thereof of that event, nobody was/is willing to stand up, including DJT, to counter-revolt.

I never thought Trump would win this time, except I prayed hard he would especially after the Steal.  But I think we have to face the fact God is chastising this country, and we deserve it.  And that we have so little power or real rights in the face of the globalist elite, it is futile to continue the way we have.

At this point I think the most patriotic thing we can do now is step back from the political structure, pray for it, bear witness to the truth, at most vote at the local level (for dog catcher or sheriff), and bear public witness to this Monstrosity that is the Communists States of America collapse from within. And prepare one day to start over again and establish a new, and better Union.

In my opinion, that means we, in general, need to retreat more from the mainststream ala the likes of "The Benedict Option."  Not go isolationist in the deep woods around Clear Creek abbey, but move to places like that, or at least to more conservative locations outside the city.  Our plan is, hopefully soon, to relocate near family who need our help, in a rural environment, near a town, but close enough to commute to the city to work.

And I think we need to unplug from social media, Fox news, Amazon, Netflix, and the like.  We need alternative platforms yes, but even more we need to get back to Reality---physical and metaphysical--by unplugging more from the internet world and the secularist mainstream.

I am grieving with all you like-minded readers, whoever should come across this little spot of the blogosphere.  And Happy New Year until I touch base again.
